Competition - the be comfirmed

If there is a competition that is fairly local to my area, would like to attend and see how the rigs handle it.

Scale Crawler trail meet

Had a scale trail meet last weekend at Hunters Hill near Parbold.

The theme was to carry an egg on the crawler "all the way round" the quarry.

It was the first outing for my Axial SCX10 Honcho.

And had a great time

Thanks to Mort and Ade

New section added: Projects

MOA (Motor On Axle) - RC4WD Bully axle based build

Using RC4WD Bully axles, the idea is to create a high clearance crawler chassis that is within the 2.2 crawler size rules.

Mark1, shown on the right, has been tested this afternoon and is performing well.

There is still work to be done, tidying the wiring etc.
And electronics placement.

Build pictures to come.

Special thanks to:

Malcolm Williams for ideas, support and encouragement

And catweasel for the RC4WD Bully crawler

Mark II is now a prototype.
